Click on the state where the marriage took place and you’ll find the state agency within that state which oversees marriage records. You’ll need to contact that agency and purchase a copy of the marriage certificate.
Some states have very restrictive privacy laws limiting who can get copies of vital records…. for example who can request a copy and why.
In some states such as Missouri a local county agency needs to be contacted instead of a state agency.
issomeonemarried.com Want to find out if someone is still married? Then give me 2mins and I will share to you an easy, quick and efficient way how to find this out. So listen carefully and you will discover the truth that you’ve been looking for. Divorce, especially complicated ones, can take a long time, so many people might not want to reveal that they are in the process of severing ties but are still legally tied to someone else. To find out if someone is legally married, you need to know the person’s legal name and the state in which she was married. You will probably also need another piece of identifying information, such as the date of birth or a driver’s license number. You can then check public records, often known as vital Records, to see if there is a valid marriage on file. If you have the money, you can hire a private detective to find out someone’s background, including previous marriages. However, this can become quite expensive, especially if the person has moved a lot or taken measures to hide information. Let me share to you a secret: if the above steps won’t work, then there is the easiest and most reliable way to do this search. I’ve found a website that performs comprehensive search of marriage records. This is just so easy, only requires a minimal fee, and just right at the convenient of your own home. Question by : How do i find marriage records?
I was adopted as an infant. It was a closed adoption, but i still was given basic information such as first name DOB and birthplace my my biological mother. With this information i was able to track down my biological mothers birth certificate, which gave me a last name. But assuming that she is now married (its been 30 years since i was given up for adoption) , she is going to have a new last name. Is it possiable/ and how do i go about obtaining marrige records without knowing what county she was married in?????
I dont live in the same state that i was born in or adopted in, so i dont have a way to physically go through documents at a court house, library, or county building. Is there a website online that i could pay a fee to use and get the same information?

Answer by Hot Coffee you could check the library in the county you were born in, check the old new papers “miro fish” and see if they have a birth announcement for you with any parents names or grandparents places they lived at the time other family members .try to trace grandparents instead of parent check fr death certificates on grandparents, 50% of people move back and live within 50 miles from birthplace, also check cemeteries for grandparents if you find one then talk to the caretakers and they may have more info like where the next of kin lives like your mom they have them in obituaries too,so check for that to also you may be able to google up obituaries online, your grandparents must be at least 80 so they may be deceased, they could also have brother or sisters wh passed on and that person obi. could lead you to your grand parents,,,,,,,alsotry to google up some adopition agenceys some states allow them to give the information after the child is 18 so, check into that too….
